Know the Mpox vaccine: Fact vs. Myth and information on where to get vaccinated

When it comes to the Mpox vaccine, formerly known as monkeypox or the new name monkeypox, many people may have questions or misunderstandings that need answers. Let's clearly understand what is true and what is misunderstanding, along with information on where you can get vaccinated in Thailand!

Fact vs. Myth: Know the monkeypox vaccine

Myth 1: The Mpox vaccine must be injected as a full dose of 0.5 ml to be effective. If injected as 0.1 ml, it will not be effective!
Fact: Whether you inject a full dose of 0.5 ml or a 0.1 ml dose intradermal injection, the effectiveness of protection is still the same! This method saves vaccines, making it accessible to more people, and also effectively prevents disease. Awesome!

.

Myth 2: After getting vaccinated, you can go out to parties and events with peace of mind. There is no way you will get infected!
Fact: Vaccines help prevent, but it does not mean they are 100% safe. Don't forget to use your brain and protect yourself. Don't go solo and take unnecessary risks.

.

Myth 3: I don't need to get vaccinated because I can just avoid close contact.

Fact: Avoiding close contact helps, but getting vaccinated is an extra layer of protection. You can have peace of mind and show off your premium safety skills!

.

Myth 4: The Mpox vaccine has serious side effects. Anyone who gets vaccinated will definitely have to be admitted to the hospital!

Fact: Most of the side effects are just a little soreness in the arm or minor symptoms. After getting vaccinated, you can go back to your normal life. Get ready to dance without worry!
