Many people may be planning to travel to Taiwan these days because of the festivals and destinations here which are LGBTQI+ friendly, right? Of course, when traveling, in addition to visiting the places, we must have an important guide to meet up with locals. When traveling to Taiwan, how can we miss it? Otherwise, our friends will tease us that we haven't been to Taiwan. *This article is courtesy of Natasha, a Thai gay in Taiwan (profile below).

Thread “How to date Taiwanese gay men” and techniques for dating men to get them, along with some small tricks that will keep you from going home alone
Let’s get to know Taiwan first. It has another name: Formosa Island or the beautiful island. Therefore, most gay men are “receivers” of everyone. Having been here for a long time, it’s easy to attack and find food, while receivers are the most competitive. But we can’t just give up like this.

People here will divide gays into three main types, just like anywhere else in the world: thin / muscular / bear. Those who have a clear body shape according to that will be easier to deal with men because our N.Y. sells visuals. In addition, Taiwanese gays can be divided into many types based on their clothing style, as shown in this picture.
End of intro, let's get to the point. People here have N.Y. like us. 1. App appointment 2. Sauna 3. Outdoor and 4. Meet at pubs and bars.
I will focus on those who use apps.
1. Online app users, here, there are only a few N.Y. apps. Here is a summary:
Hornet = Students, focus on flirting and then cut to N.Y.
Grindr = Y. Right away, Y. Urgent, Hi, Pop, Slave-Master, outdoor appointment
Blued = ASEAN brothers, imported labor
Gsland = Should be able to speak Chinese, moderately urgent work deals, all Taiwanese, not many foreigners
Jack'd = Working age, a bit older
Tinder = Chat today, N.Y. Next year, continue to N.Y. Suitable for focusing on quality, not quantity
9monsters = Taiwanese with a Japanese heart, Taiwanese speaking Japanese or having lived in Japan before
Tantan = Very young, uses broken Chinese, lots of bikers
Usually on the app, we have to post a picture of our face, figure, and swimsuit. Every gay guy is a good guy! But here, please add a photo of yourself wearing white socks, raising your feet, or taking a photo from a low angle. I can tell you that… people will notice significantly more. Sample photos are attached. Also, post sportswear such as workout clothes, tank tops, and shorts. I guarantee that people will notice even more because gay guys here really like the sportswear fetish.

If you are a bespectacled guy, use a photo of yourself wearing glasses in your profile picture. Taiwan has a population of bespectacled gays who are as tall as those wearing socks and sportswear.
People here mainly use Traditional Chinese. Those who don't speak Chinese will have a little trouble. But Taiwanese education is not bad. Everyone can speak English. But... they will be shy and embarrassed, so they don't dare. Except if we are very beautiful, they will try their best.
When Taiwanese people ask for a size, they will ask for details including the size. Here, they don't use 52, 56 like us. You have to tell the length and circumference in cm. The standard size here is 15/5, 15/6. Some people write this number on the top of the profile. Do you understand?
Here, they use numbers to represent their Role.
1 = Attacker = similar to C.
0 = Receiver = similar to a hole
0.5 = Vers = Middle
1 and 0, when asking a guy, just type "10?" and that's it. Communicating the Da Vinci Code is very fast. 55555
Most people here don't take their boyfriends to their houses because the house prices are expensive. So they will have roommates or share a house with other people. So for convenience and safety, make an appointment at your own hotel room. But if you dare, the guy invites you to go outdoors, that's another story.
Prepare your own gel bag because it's cheaper in Thailand. It's better to take PrEP because if the bag breaks, the emergency contraceptive pill (PEP) here costs ten thousand baht. We have to double safety first, you know.

Since this country doesn't have a butt sprayer, what should a bottom do? The answer is a shower head. Remove the shower head and you'll get a really crappy butt sprayer that you can use right away. P.S. I got the butt sprayer from Thailand. My Taiwanese friend told me about this technique. I've never tried it myself.
A message to all Thais: Don't moan using the word "Ouch". Ouch! It's not a universal language. My Taiwanese friend told me that Thais like to moan like this and they laugh because it sounds like a pig groaning. LOL. I was like, "Oh, I'm open to a new world." I think we should practice moaning like Taiwanese people or international people.
